I think my forage base is ok. Lots of bluegill, green sunfish (and hybrids), crawfish, and golden shiners. I also suspect baby crappie provide some forage, but I'm not sure on that. Usually when I clean a bass it's stomach either has a "perch" or crawdad in it.
I'm curious about the 2026 instead of 25 too? Would it be to give time to harvest an appropriate number of existing fish? Create a hole to fill with the new fish type of thing? Forage base may be okay but could be missing a key component especially if you are trying to grow 5-7 lb plus LMB.
