I'm with Bill. Using a seine will reduce the amount of bass that you will need in the pond.
FOR YOUR GOALS I'd follow Bill's advice and specifically target all GSF and the "mutts".
Pay attention to their feeding response. If they slow down feeding it is 1 of 2 things. Well, 3 things....... 1) they are off trying to spawn or 2) the water quality is starting to tank.3) The water is too hot - but that is easily checked with a thermometer.
