i did it myself, 2x500 watt panels, 80watt charge controller, 24v inverter to 120v, 4 x trojan (costco equivalent) 6v batteries. 2x 120watt aerators with 2 bubble type hoses. Every once in a while I use a generator with a 550w aerator to help them out...its been very cold with almost no snow cover all winter. Last winter a small aerator kept a 30x30 hole open.
