Here is an observation that some may find interesting. Between July 13 and July 19, I stocked 90 3.5 - 6" BG in my 1 ac. pond. These BG were caught with fishing equipment. I took a canoe ride around the pond yesterday and quickly counted 10 active nests. Less than three weeks after getting there jaw jerked, tossed in a bucket and dumped in a new environment, they feel like making love.

I didn't think they would spawn this year but I am pretty happy they are. The pond was getting low on forage.

Good news . I thought that may be the case based on your prior post about how many to add. Most of the new hatch will feed your new yoy bass . You may still need a few more 3-5 inchers for your adult bass if you are not seeing many BG that size around the pond. You will have to watch closely until next summers BG spawn to see proper balance. Keep us posted. ewest
