I agree....and when combined with Tilapia, that's a formidable pond management tool, which may be effective in breaking the unending expensive and questionable cycle of using chemicals in our ponds. The cycle I speak of is fertilize, use herbicides to kill weeds caused by fertilizers, use copper based products to kill algae caused in part by excess nutrients from fertilizer, use whatever products are available to help remove the muck caused by decaying plants which were caused by hebicides which were needed because of...well you get the picture.
If not break, at least bend the cycle...
