bc - your situation is telling me the pond is fairly new with very little ROOTED vegetation OR they have all good vegetation eaten and the worm was about the only thing that is currently palatable for these fish. If there were plenty of tasty weeds available you probably would not have caught the amur unless it was on the Atkins high protein diet.
