Just finished putting liner in quarter acre pond obout 8 deep I wanted a pond bad enough that I didn't follow all the rules have influx of water under the liner what I can't do because of location and money put a French drain in, can not dig a hole with a sump can not put in a vent etc. The liner is 30 mill rpe my most likely option at this time is a hydrostatic vent in the liner that would let the bottom water into the pond. I know that it's not really recommended but was wandering what brand might work and how you put one in on an already installed liner. The po d presently has about 10 inches of water tks for any ideas

The simple solution is weight on the liner inside the basin. If the pond is full, and there is some distributed weight like stones, gravel, etc. that will help a lot.

Larger lined ponds usually have the liner covered with at least a few inches of materials to protect them from punctures, exposure to the sun, and what you are experiencing as the pond fills. This means there is a limit to slope on the sides of the pond so the materials stay put.

Would like to know if anyone has Installed a pressure relief in an Installed pond liner how they did this and what brand was used I have a quarter acre pond

I am NOT an expert on this problem, just throwing out an idea.

Do you know what a "driven sand point well" is?

Basically, you attach a strong screen with a point on the bottom to some steel pipe. You then hammer or pile drive the steel pipe into the ground until the screen at the bottom reaches the groundwater table. At that point, you run a pump inside the pipe and have a water well.

You might be able to use that process to evacuate the water on the wrong side of your liner.

Drive a vertical sand point well beside your pond, or if there is a dam or low side, then you could drive the pipe in horizontally.

If you have much lower ground nearby, you might be able to start a siphon and remove the water outside of the liner. If no low ground, then you might just be able to attach a pump and de-water the area around the liner as needed in the future.
