Today, ambient temp got to the mid 60s, so a very warm sunny day, after several colder days.
I expected the fish to act just as they did yesterday, ready to feed. I only saw bluegill starting to gather.
The bluegill would mostly only hit feed that was sinking. For my first offering, I threw one water-soaked Optimal Largemouth pellet with no takers! I followed up with a second pellet adjacent to the first, and no takers, just observers. I threw the third pellet, and it started sinking and was immediately taken. From there, I threw out some Optimal Grower of which 20% or so is sinking, and they only took the sinking feed. Normally, they'll take the sinking feed first, and then take the floating Grower.
Barely any surface action, and I didn't see any LMB or catfish.
It's amazing how things change day to day.
