Here’s a pic of the rocks along the eastern edge of the pond. When the bulldozer uncovered these, I was told to give upon the pond. It would never hold water. I used to get poison ivy very bad. But I slowly built up resistance to it. I still get a few blisters, but it doesn’t spread, and I no longer get big patches of it. I e got a few blisters now from working back behind the dam. I found a pike saw extension for my craftsman weed eater. It’s a game changer for me. I was able to cut trees down from 12’ away. 12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep. RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs) I think that's about all I should put in my little pond. Otter attack in 2023.
