My pond fills in April with irrigation water then begins to drop in October when water is no longer available.
I've planted yellow water iris, which struggles mightily and did not even bloom this year.
Could I expect any success with pickerel weed or other iris/flag species? Cattails and hard stem bulrush do fair.
Lowest level is in April and is 4' below full pool.
