When you are wanting to grow BIG LM bass this information from Boondoggl is the type of growth that the bass should have for their first year when stocked as 2" fingerlings at the end of May. Important - the fingerlings Boondoggle bought had been hatched in the current year and were not from the previous year's year class of fingerlings. 2"-3" LMB fingerlings in Spring from the prior year are IMO stunted and did not have proper fast growth growing conditions. Note that Boondoggle is from Kansas not southern TX nor FL. This type of fast LMbaass growth can be accomplished in more northern states when using high quality fingerlings who are given unlimited food. Those stocker bass need to have unlimited amounts of food to achieve growth rates of 1.25 to 1.6mm per day https://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=569711&page=1
