I have always been envious of my Pond Boss friends like Dave Davidson talking about their grandkids. Well I have joined the club, Ava Renee Neeley was born yesterday. Mother and Daughter doing great. Been a long time before this that I cried, hard to cry and smile at the same time.
Headed to Bass Pro for a Scooby Doo rod and reel.
This helps me remember why I built the pond!

Congratulations, Bill. I have 3 daughters who all sat in deer blinds with me. Of course, now they're grown but they give me absolutely no trouble when I drag out a pistol and teach their kids to shoot.

You're gonna love it.

BTW, your post kinda wet my eyes.

Dittos, Bill. I have 5 grand daughters, then 1 grand son, 8 months. Had the oldest grand daughters 8th BD last night. She is so excited about going w/ us to Miss. to the pond to fish. She is quite the little fisherperson(PC).
took the 3 and 6 yr olds last wk. They just wanted to play with the worms. Mom freaked. \:\)
Enjoy!

Congrats Bill!
We grandads tend to wish their lives away for the first 5 or so years! They can't get big enough soon enough!
They're all different, just like my 4 sons were but they're all a joy!
I have 2 granddaughters one 12 & one 5. The oldest is a typical girl kinda squemish. The youngest likes to poke around the insides of squirrels & any other animal my oldest son brings home from hunting.
Again, congratulations! Keep'em close & they'll want to do what you want to do.
