I’m sorry! I reread my post. I totally messed that up. Brother in law caught 7 SMB, not YP. We’ve caught some decent sized YP over the years, but I don’t think any approached 19”. My son fished our pond yesterday for the first time in years. He had very limited success. Two nice SMB on, but he didn’t land either one. My wife caught one YP. The rest were all our weird RES/HBG crosses. (At least that’s what I’m guessing they are)
12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep. RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs) I think that's about all I should put in my little pond. Otter attack in 2023.
