I think they thought you were dissing me FishingRod. I didn't take it that way BTW. I think you were just sharing your personal experience and I appreciate your thoughts.

I was just wondering I what I should anticipate while waiting and watching. Were it something like "now you see a baitfish ... swoosh ... now you don't" ... I might just do it ... for the grins and giggles.

I do see lots of LMB in the ponds I frequent. I don't have to go out at night but the water is relatively clear and they are easy to see in those ponds. Anyways, I've fished a lot at night for crappie with lights. It attracts crappie and the bugs of interest (hexagenia). We'd tip the jigs with hexes and caught a lot of crappie. Miss it a lot.
