Bass can get on feed pretty quickly.
If you went with a smaller 'grower' pellet, you'd probably get more bass on pellets sooner, and have some greater initial growth.
Certainly, the bass are eating fathead fry and smaller fatheads, and soon enough, they'll be eating adult fatheads.
