I wonder if there is any sampling bias when you are only examining bass caught by fishing?

With no larger predators in the pond, I suspect the most aggressive bass are the ones that are growing the fastest. The most aggressive bass are also the first ones to pounce on your lure.

However, I am pretty sure you have so much good forage in there right now, that even the "shy" bass are getting their feedbag on.
