I give you a definitive yes. What I don't know is how much you should worry about a fish kill in a 15 acre pond in North Cheeseland. But you'll hear about that from more knowledgeable pondmeisters. Dr. Mark Cornwell's articles ("On Northern Pond") in (back issues of) PBMag will likely have some valuable info along those lines, too.
