I was looking up some different types of water clarification products, but I couldn’t find anything that was really designed for larger natural bottom ponds. Is there a particular product you would recommend? Most of the stuff I saw were very expensive when accounting for how much I would actually need.
I’ve read some stuff about baking soda? Any thoughts on that. And also adding carbon dioxide will help? I don’t know how that even is possible…?
I will know more information today once I have the test strips and can test hardness and alk. We are getting the remnants of the hurricane this week, and they are calling for something like 6” of rain over the next 4 days… hopefully that helps flush out the water some, but also don’t want to add some expensive chemicals and it just washes away.
