Try adding a dechlorinator to help with ammonia and nitrites, and consider using a water conditioner that binds heavy metals and stabilizes pH. Increase aeration with additional pumps to boost oxygen levels. For algae, you might need to use a targeted algaecide that won’t mess with your pH. Keep a close eye on water hardness and alkalinity once your test strips arrive.
