Hi all, I went down to my usually 1 acre very clear pond yesterday and see that it has turned green and the visibility is reduced to about 6 inches. I’m assuming it is an algae bloom. I have always had some filamentous algae in the pond, but never this green color in three years since construction. The pond at this point is about 8 feet Deep.
Will this resolve or do I need to treat the pond to get rid of the green color? I see a product on Amazon called Algaefix, Can I buy 5 gallons of this and apply to the pond to clear the algae?
Thanks in advance for your great help, Tony
