Hi Bill, yes those striped minnows are dace - they look much different than when in the net for some reason.

A little bit more into the video I pause the cam so there are stills of the weeds. 1st weed is at 2:03 , second at 2:24, 3rd at 3:01.

Ill be removing some of those weeds a little later this summer - right now i think they help the trout and larger PS escape the otters!
