Hello, I have a 10 acre farm pond. I'm wanting to build some type of sprayer to put down copper sulfate and or other algaecide chemicals. I had it professionally sprayed and they had a pacer pump and a large tank in there boat. Anyone have any type of plans I could go off of. I want to use a 55 gal barrel or similar tank size . Thank you

Agricultural farm spray boom would be close to the same. Look on Youtube to see if there are DIY plans. There may be one on here but if so it was years ago.

Might look at tractor 3pt and UTV mount sprayers. I think the 40-60 gallon ranges run around $1,000. I'd bet you could buy components needed if you found one you liked....spray gun, hose, pump motor...

I also am looking. I got a 55 gal plastic barrel and fed thru a hose into a 2" gas trash pump then to a garden hose with nozzle. worked ok. Too many parts and pieces. filled up the bed of my truck .i am now Looking at tow behind sprayers or 3 pt hitch sprayers but wondering what GPM rating would be needed for a wand to spray about 50ft. anyone have any idea?
