I admittedly get this affliction every year when temp starts to stay above freezing most of the time; but not really fishing weather yet. Tonight, I had to grab one of the tackle boxes out of the garage just to look through it.

Anyone else get this affliction?

I get cabin fever, and then can't get out fishing because I still have too much work to do on the weekends.

What is the name for that affliction?

Oh yeah!.

Had a teaser about a week or so ago with warm temps and fish taking feed.

Then, back to winter like weather.

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

I just bought Berkley Vanish to re-spool the 9 fishing reels. The ones that have braid on them are good for another year or two.

Cabin fever is a real thing, gets bad this time of year, we had a month of really nice warm weather in last half of Feb first half of march, then the past couple weeks have been back to seasonal or below temps and really put a damper on things.
It was so nice that gardening fever hit pretty hard but I didnt get too excited, I knew it would be back to winter before it was over. do know of some that been planting, stuff isnt doing so good right now.
I been getting in some crappie fishing though.
Remodeling is on the second phase for the house so workitis has crippled me a good bit too.

All the really good ideas I've ever had came to me while I was milking a cow.

I’m retired and can’t think of much that I want to do or places that I haven’t been(that I want to see). I’m now 81 yoa.

Hunted Africa and have animals on my wall that I wasn’t mad at. Hunted most of the Western and North Western States.

A couple of years ago, we went on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. Drove there from Fort Worth. Then drove East and saw most of the Western and Central states. Then South and then headed back West to Cowtown. On the way, stopped in Las Vegas and got my butt out of there after a couple of days.

A couple of years ago, we drove to South Florida for a nephews wedding. Could have flown free. Son in law works for an airline.

Went to Mississippi to see my last living cousin. 3 years later went back to see his, and other relatives, graves.

Not unusual for us to leave Fort Worth and head North up into Oklahoma or West to New Mexico, Arizona, etc. Found prairie dog town in Oklahoma that we like to visit on day trips.

Itchy feet

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
