There are 2 specific formulations used as an additive to enhance lubricity, which also lowers effective octane. To be used as general fuel, the additive packages are mixed with 100LL and 87 Octane auto fuel. We can use this in Turbine aircraft if we mix 1oz of 2 stroke oil per 45 gal fuel. Hard to believe that 1oz per 45 gal is enough to lube fuel control drive shaft ($85,000 unit per engine) but it does.
