I have been asked to announce that Todd Overton, fisheries biologist and owner/operator of Overton Fisheries will be at America's Country Store in Wylie, Texas (10 miles from Plano) on July 23rd at 1:00 pm for fish talk and questions.

He will answer questions on stocking, feeding, and caring for fish in Texas farm ponds (stock tanks). Or, I guess, any other pond related questions.

They ask for pre-registration to insure that it will be worth the long drive by Todd.

Dave,
Thanks for posting for me at the time, I thought it was my computer problem with PB access.

I have done business with these folks for some time and they are good people.
They know I am serious about ponds and wanted me to discuss ponds with their customers, but since I know just enough to be dangerous, Todd agreed to bail me out

If its OK with Todd and the store owner, Ill do a demo of the pellet fly, as well as a couple of easy to tie pond flies - otherwise on the parking lot?

A numbers of folks have shown interest in the pellet fly. Ive given away about all I have time to tie, so heres your opportunity to get started on fly tyin if interested.

Just to be clear, I have no affiliation with either party only a satisfied customer returning a favor for good service.

Todd asked me to post a CANCELLATION notice for his planned appearance at the Country Store this Saturday.
Turned out little to no local interest at this time several of the responses that I received are already his customers.

Maybe another time another place?
