I would like to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to respond to my original question in such detail. You have given us things to think about that had never occurred to us in trying to obtain our goal of larger bass and hopefully retaining our large crappie. Sounds like our wish list may be a pretty tough thing to achieve given the interaction of the three species mentioned - BG, Crappie, and LMB.
