Sadly, that probably wouldn't work (A lesson I learned sending Catalpa seeds to Meadowlark many years ago). Up here we have
Northern Rattlesnake Trees (although they mostly just grow Copperheads); what you need to handle Texas' climate is the
Southern Rattlesnake Tree variety.
