And, fwiw, I use the Cuddelink game camera system, they can be set up to surveillance mode where they send pictures immediately, but one huge thing that they have available, (and other brands probably do too), is a strobe flash camera setup that will take a real live flash and color picture after dark, mounted up on a tree or something, high and out of reach, and flashing like a regular camera at night, will intimidate the crap out of somebody, for starters, they will know without any uncertainty that they are caught on a high tech game camera, and the longer they hang around looking for it the more times this thing will put out a blinding flash.
Trust me it is intimidating as hell to be sneaking along in pitch dark and have a blinding flash light up your world then pitch dark again, especially if you were trespassing. because you cant tell hardly without setting it off a number of times where its coming from.
I have seen it go off several time on deer walking in front of it when I am out at my deer stand early or late. might want to consider that option
