That being said, how do you catch the YP? I put some in my pond but have never caught any yet, worms on a hook is a waste of time for me, too many BG, cant keep a worm in the water long enough for anything else to have a chance.

We’ve worked hard to try and get rid of the HBG I introduced seven years ago. We still catch some, but not many. They did reproduce, but not as bad as I originally thought. So now YP is the biggest part of my fish population. We still have a lot of golden shiners, but they don’t go after minnows. Which is how we are catching most of our YP.

RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs)
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
