Howdy all, I've been lurking/reading this message board for several weeks and have learned a lot, laughed a bit too. Thanks to all who are involved in keeping the website up, it seems like a user friendly, well run spot.
I live in the NW corner of South Carolina, just below the NC line. My pond is just under 2 acres, with a smaller silt catcher (frog pond) above the main part of the pond. Stocked with LMB, shellcracker gills, 3 amurs, for weed control, and at least one lonely catfish that came from who knows where.
My new neighbor upstream from me has just built a new pond about the same size as mine. With the rains we've experienced recently, I'm thinking some of 2500 BG & 150 'Tiger'LMB he stocked have probably relocated into my pond along with more red clay silt than I want to talk about.
Thanks for allowing me to ramble on.
