A customer has a shed with electric in it that is 220 yards from one pond and 340 yards from another. I had a landscape company that has a slitting machine (large vibrating knife) that they use to pull underground sprinkler line to do underground sprinklers come in and put the airline in the ground. They can lay that 1" that Theo used or even larger 1 1/4" line in the ground as fast as the operator can walk. Both of those ponds are fed by one 1/4 hp rotary vane compressor. The compressor is inside the shed without a cabinet around it, but it has a fan built into the compressor and the shed doesn't have much in it, so the compressor doesn't run that hot like it would in a smaller enclosure. The smaller enclosures have a fan that sucks outside air through the cabinet to cool the compressor. Heat will kill a compressor faster than anything else.
