We came up to the pond for the weekend. Thought we’d swim and fish. However, the pond is covered with a weird orange algae. I haven’t seen it before. I suspect the guys farming our bean fields had applied fertilizer, and possibly weed killer right before a 4.5” hard rain hit a few days ago.
Anyone know if this is a dangerous algae to swim in? Hopefully it’ll just go away on its own.

12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs)
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
