Any way to get more info on this question? I've always thought(perhaps incorrectly) fish are like cows in that you need to avoid sustained inbreeding. That's why I have always tried to rotate some "breeding" stock among my ponds...and also why I like to occasionally buy some fish, e.g. coppernose BG from a completely different source. Maybe that's a waste of time?
