I think we should have one new Thread area (possibly call it NEW TO PONDS:READ ME) for important topics, backup threads for things discussed over and over, and for newbies like myself to ponds. etc.
Bruce I agree with you on the 'why aerate' reply you posted. I have found lots of information on here, but I had to look for it, and or ask.
Main threads to keep in the new area could be something like:
1)Acreage to fish ratios 2)Before pond construction/things to watch out for 3)Types of plants to use 4)Aerating and how 5)Hatchery #/by state whatever 6)General tips 7)whatever else.
What do you all think?
