it doesn't have to have a hole in the dike to lose water, does it? it could certainly be evaporating or seeping into the soil. if you aren't getting "fresh" water daily, it just HAS to go down slowly, i would think.
but this is my first post and i didn't even sleep in a holiday inn express last night...so what do i know?
