For a few days the thaw is very slow.
The small pond is thawed, water at 39f.
But the big pond is still frozen water at 34f.
On the third picture you can see a little the distance between the 2 pond, which is about 30 feet.
In the small pond Yellow-perch spawn about a week before those in the big pond.
