Well, I wish you the best...ponds are truely a joy and worth every penny and all the efforts it takes to establish and manage them.

I sat here all through the hot season wishing for rain, I had 8' of water, but the pond was not "full". I planted fish, then trees, then plants, all the time waiting for more water. I fed the fish, I fed the trees, I even fed the plants, but the water just got lower.
Well that's not a problem , 14" of rain in the last 4 days and it continues to fall. All the pond's banks are saturated, with two places threatening to collapse into the water. Careful what you wish for? I tossed and turned most of the night worrying about bank failure and thinking, monsoon will last until December maybe January. I wonder if the ground will support a track hoe?, it's raining so I bet he is not busy, I wonder how much it will cost to...
1/4 & 3/4 acre ponds. A thousand miles from no where and there is no place I want to be...
