Trout could be added, but with the understanding that they are a seasonal fish and would most likely die out around the end of June depending on how far North you are in Mi. Also, since you are in Mi., any fish stocking has to be approved by the State of Michigan if the pond has a permanent inflow or outflow device (a pipe, etc).
