Bassandgrass -- my best guess is that your male largemouths should already be excavating nests if you are at 64 F. That is exactly the stage that we are at in SD (a cool spring delayed spawning just a little this year). The bluegills usually start about the time that the largemouths are finishing, so it may be a couple more weeks.
