Part of my reluctance is what I see & smell at a creosote treatment plant about 20 miles from my home. They have a small pond on the property that smells & looks dead, even water birds won't go there. Probably accumulated chemicals, including arsenic, over the years. Don't want anything like that in my water, especially on the dock where I feed.
