I'm getting ready to build a floating "T" shaped dock on my pond and I am looking for a cheap place to purchase polystyrene floats (billets). Any information or tips will be greatly appreciated. I can even work with old styrofoam if it's not too bad off. Thanks. George [email protected]

george often you can go to the marinas around the lake and get good stuff that they have discarded for a cheap price

Thanks Dr. Holt. I tried our friends at Scotts Marina on Grapevine Lake but they didn't have anything. The kids and I may head to Twin Coves and do a little dumpster diving for styrofoam and aluminum!

Bought my foam @ Therma Foam 2324 Franklin Dr, Fort Worth--817 624 7204.They will cut foam to size.Bought 2--1# 18" x 28" x 84" & 1--1# 18" x 36" x 72" for $177.70 in 2001. Hope this helps.
