Welcome to the forum! You should try to source some Pumpkinseed Sunfish for the pond, and while it's still not full make sure to get cover in there for the fish. You will want brush like Christmas Trees with 2'-4' of water over the upper most branches of them - the Yellow Perch will utilize them for spawning.
