I see nothing to worry about (in terms of potential unwanted ads/popups, etc.). I read the privacy policy on their terms page (http://photobucket.com/terms.php) and saw nothing out of the norm. What kind of strings are you thinking of? Or are you just being extra cautious? Don�t they just give you a link to a photo?
