That's even worse than I thought. Definitely no BG then. Have you heard anything about Pumpkinseeds and biting?

I wonder if those fish nip because the nip part resembles a pellet to them? I have been in a lot of water without feeding and don't recall being nipped.

Haven't been nipped by a Northern Pike either. eek

I don't know a thing about pumpkinseeds.
The range map shows that they live in some of the waters that I fish, but I don't recall having ever seen one.

No idea about Pumpkinseeds, but I would recommend putting them in to help control any snails that might show up.

Just know that PS can stunt and cross easily with BG. I would use them if RES were not an option.

Very correct. I have caught PS/BG hybrids in central Wisconsin where the climate is too cold for RES.
