Has anyone ever seen a chart showing how much water eveporates from a given surface area? I know it would depend on humidity, temperature, wind, and things like that. I'm just looking for a nice round number. Thanks.

i do not have a chart but i've asked several people about my lake which is a little over 6 acres and they tell me that 1/4" during summer time is normal.

Dave or someone posted the bucket trick of filling a 5 gal bucket in your pond to the same level as your pond & if the pond drops faster than the bucket then the extra water loss can be atributed to a leak & not evaporation.
