DD1, in the past you've paraphrased Lusk's quote that for optimal LMB growth, forage numbers should be so dense that bass can go to sleep with their mouths open, and then wake up full. Could this be a very important ingredient to getting advanced sized, transplanted bass to thrive in their new environs?
If food is so abundant that capturing a meal is easy, perhaps the "old dogs" (advanced bass) can learn "new tricks" (how to efficiently fill their bellies), in their new home before they lose too much condition?
Has anyone tried this?
