Update: I turned all aeriation OFF to my 2 acre pond in deep east Texas last October 2020. I had 4-6 inch visibility and was desperate to try ANYTHING that might help my clarity. I have solved clay bank problems and spread MANY tons of ag lime in the pond. Nothing helped visibility. Turning aeriation off was last resort. It has been completely turned off for NINE MONTHS and pond is in best shape it has EVER been in!! Here's my question... I want to turn my aeriation pump on just to let in run so not to "lock up" on me and to keep the lines clear. How long can I run it just to test it without messing with my water clarity and killing fish from gasses also?? Would you only recommend closing off my 3 air lines to my diffusers and just run the pump? Maybe do one at a time for a minute or two? Completely disconnecting the hoses from the pump and running JUST the compressor for a few minutes? I just don't want my thousands of $ investment sitting idle and going bad on me. Any advise appreciated!! Thanks
