Fishing for cat for the table in the large stock pond in central east Texas. Snagged and lost the hook, so I was reeling the line in quickly, the bobber skipping over the surface. A monster LMB inhales the bobber and dives. He coughed it up in a matter of seconds. Switched to surface lures (Jitterbug, Chugger, more) and not a strike the rest of the day. No cat for dinner either. I know it's a "one that got away" tale, but can you rig a bobber with a hook?
