If using SMB I would leave out the CC because I don' think the SMB will do a good job controlling the reproduction of the CC. If you demand CC then do not stock any CC until the SMB have spawned at least once better twice. Then with a 3 year class of SMB they might, maybe might be able to control the CC. Be prepared for the CC to overpopulate and how to deal with them if they do cause recruitment of CC. IMO a few hybrid striped bass would be much better than the CC for your small pond.
