Hi All! I love American Lotus flowers and I have heard that the root is edible and can grow quite large. However my lotus roots are all very thin and don't resemble photos I've seen of 2 to 3 inch thick roots.
Has anyone eaten lotus root before?
Please send me a PM if you have a variety with large roots, it'd be fun to try growing some of those in my pond.
